Pheasant Surveys
The SD Game Fish and Parks just came out with the pheasant surveys and indicated a very good hatch. The numbers are not quite as good as last year but still very good. Once again the central part of S.D. produced the highest counts. Locally here in Chamberlain people have been seeing lots of pheasants on the roads. Rainfall has been above average the whole spring/summer so cover is abundant……
Lab Puppies
Lab puppies just born. Registered Black and Chocolate pups. Mother is Yellow and Father is Black. Both parents hunt pheasants in S.D. Mom and pups have pointing in them. References available . $300 for females and $250 for males. Dew claws removed and 1st set of shots…………. Available Oct. 24th
Lab puppies status
Jersey our Yellow Lab has just whelped out 9 beautiful puppies. She was bred with a black lab that hunts pheasants for 4 months out of the year. Jersey had 5 chocolates and 4 black labs with 6 being male. Give me a call if you are interested in these labs. Their demeanor is calm on both sides. I am pricing these dogs to sell.

If you're looking for a Labrador for your next family member, give us a call. Our Yellow female is pregnant. Mother and father (black lab) are both registered and very good hunters. They should whelp after the first of the year.
We had cancellations this year due to some health problems so check to see if your time slot will work for next fall.
Pheasant season
The pheasant numbers are up and so is the moisture. We have received five inches of rain this week so the fields are going to be muddy. Also, we have not had a hard freeze yet so there is plenty of cover. I don't think the crops will get out until mid-November.
Pheasant hunt report
The 07 pheasant hunting season looks to be a good one, as we have received more rain than in the last couple of years. A large number or broods have been spotted in the fields and the GF&P report should be coming out soon. Get your spot reserved today. We did raise our rates this year to $150/gun.
South Dakota Pheasant season
The 2006 pheasant season was a good one here in central South Dakota. The number of hunters in the area was comparable to other years with lots of success. Here at Priebe Hunting we encourage you to get your reservations early. We are seeing more women and family hunting groups which is always nice.
Don't forget about our early season hunting starting in September.
Pheasant outlook
The pheasant outlook here in south central South Dakota looks very promising for the upcoming season. This past winter was very mild with only 1 major storm. There seems to be more than average number of pheasants running around.

Pheasant Season 2005
It sounds like 2005 will have plenty of pheasants in the fields. The state counts are looking very high. Come out to Chamberlain and experience beatiful scenery and excellent hunting.
